在线博彩软件设计商和提供商Playtech有限公司已经将其与芬兰国营的Raha-Automaattiyhdistys（RAY）博彩运营商之间的现有许可协议续约两年。

以人为本的Playtech在2010年正式公开招标过程中，签署了一份为期4年的协议，为RAY提供一系列除了本地锦标赛和多人扑克室之外的的在线娱乐场以及手机客户端博彩项目，这项协议将延续到2016年。

Playtech secures RAY contract extension

Online gambling software designer and supplier Playtech Limited has extended its existing licensing agreement with Finland’s state-run Raha-Automaattiyhdistys (RAY) gaming operator for another two years.

Isle of Man-based Playtech inked a four-year deal in 2010 following a formal public tendering process to provide RAY with a range of online casino and mobile games in addition to a local tournament and cash multi-player poker room and the extension will see this arrangement continue until 2016.

“We are very pleased that the partnership between the two companies has remained strong and that, moving forward, we will continue to see the relationship grow,” said Shay Segev, Chief Operating Officer for Playtech.

“With the recent launch of Playtech's mobile casino, RAY will have yet another platform to drive revenues and engage players in the Finnish market for years to come. RAY is a strategic Playtech partner, demonstrating our strong position in regulated markets.”

Established in 1938, RAY holds the exclusive right to manage gaming operations in Finland and currently offers over 19,000 slot machines in more than 8,400 locations across the Scandinavian nation together with 300 club-based casino games and the country’s only casino, the Grand Casino Helsinki. It stated that the partnership with Playtech has been a ‘great success’ with almost €50 million in gross gaming revenues reported for 2012 alone.
