标题: 马来西亚槟城警方打击针对选举赌博集团
当地警方破获了一个针对马来西亚第13届大选结果设赌的犯罪集团，6名庄家被抓获。

这六名男子在下午5点左右的行动中分别于 Datuk Keramat, Paya Terubong 和Relau被抓获。

被查获的还有手机，笔记本电脑和台式电脑。

这六名庄家非法接受赌注达1百万马币。

可以相信，下注者通过电话联系庄家下注，然后把赌资打入庄家的账户。

槟城警方大选发言人助理 Roslee Chik证实了这次抓捕行动。

GE13: Penang police cripple election betting syndicate

Police here busted a syndicate taking bets on the outcome of the 13th general election following the arrest of six bookies.

The six men were picked up from Datuk Keramat, Paya Terubong and Relau around 5pm in an operation.

Also recovered were handphones, laptops and destop computers.

The six bookies allegedly accepted bets amounting up to RM1mil.

It is believed that punters would call the bookies to place their bets, before banking their bets into bookies' accounts.

Penang police general election spokesman Asst Comm Roslee Chik confirmed the arrests.
