James Packer说从已经提交的设计方案来看，其名下位于布朗加鲁的皇冠酒店及豪客赌场将成为继悉尼歌剧院之后又一标志性建筑。
这座造价10亿美金的6星级悉尼皇冠酒店度假村是由3位世界著名建筑师参与设计，上周五公布的评审团奖在本月晚些时候宣布一个设计奖项的赢家。

皇冠度假村主席James Packer说，他对设计的水平印象非常之高。


“悉尼值得打造世界最好的酒店之一，而这些令人惊叹的建筑师们正在努力。”


“有了这些设计，悉尼皇冠酒店将成为这座城市继悉尼歌剧院之后的又一标志性建筑。不管最后谁获得设计大奖-该酒店都必定成为一项杰作，”Packer先生说道。


他说他希望酒店能被印在明信片上或制成纪念品，售予全世界从而推广悉尼市。


评审团由来自皇冠度假村，联盛集团，布朗加鲁交付机构以及新南威尔士州的规划和基础设施部的成员们组成。


建筑物的最终设计方案需要由布朗加鲁交付机构和新南威尔士州的规划和基础设施部通过。


酒店将在一座豪客赌场之上打造350间客房及套房。

Packer's Sydney casino to be 'iconic'

James Packer says designs submitted for his proposed Crown hotel and high roller casino at Barangaroo show it will be the most iconic building constructed in Sydney since the Opera House.

Designs for the $1 billion, six-star Crown Sydney Hotel Resort by three world-renowned architects were released on Friday by a judging panel, which will announce a design winner later this month.

Crown Resorts Chairman James Packer said, in a statement, he was extremely impressed with the quality of the designs.

"Sydney deserves one of the world's best hotels and these amazing architects have all delivered.

"With these sorts of designs, Crown Sydney will be the most iconic building constructed in this city since the Opera House. Whoever ends up winning - it's guaranteed to be a masterpiece," Mr Packer said.

He said he wanted the building to be instantly recognisable around the world and feature on postcards and memorabilia promoting Sydney.

The judging panel is made up of members from Crown Resorts, Lend Lease, the Barangaroo Delivery Authority and the NSW Department of Planning and Infrastructure.

The final building design will require approval by the Barangaroo Delivery Authority and planning approval from the NSW Department of Planning and Infrastructure.

The hotel will have about 350 guestrooms and suites above a high rollers casino.
