Playtech announcement covers a new multi-tiered VIP system, re-designed mobile clients, & fresh tournament structures.

Online gambling group Playtech plc, which owns the iPoker Network, announced Thursday that the coming weeks will see a significant upgrade in its poker software.

The improvements will involve the introduction of iOS & HTML5 apps, a new multi-tiered VIP system, re-designed mobile clients & fresh tournament structures.

The VIP changes will see up to 54 different tiers with matching benefits available to players, whilst the tournaments refresh will include new shoot out & heads up tournament formats, both in SNG & scheduled tournaments.
